I have spent the past few weeks setting up an Internet radio station. About a year-and-a-half ago I got out of radio, which I was in for about 20 years. Well, the bug stayed in me.
Blip 2600 plays music from when the Atari 2600 was available (late 70's to the early 90's), so it's not your "typical" 80's station. There are even a few country crossover songs mixed in. If you are in to this type of music, go over and give it a listen. Hopefully the Birthday Fairy will bring me a USB turntable this spring so that I can digitize some of my records! Right now I have about 200 songs in rotation and each week I will be replacing some of them.
Quick note about using Live365: To listen you will need to register. You only need to provide a user name, email address and I think your gender.

Neat. I logged in. There are a lot of choices in addition to 2600. I am listening right now.

There are over 7,500 stations on Live365. A large number of them are only available to VIP (paying) members.

I transfer my LP's to MiniDisc (I have two MD recorder/players).
I have an Audigy SoundBlaster occupying one of my 5.25" bays and it has an optical input.
Take the disc - run it over to the CPU and record.
I use Cool Edit Pro to do the editing.
Digital connection from the Sound Blaster to my sound board and back to the CD Recorder.
ADD recording!
The neat thing about the MiniDisc is that I have an optical connection to my TIVO unit also - DDD recording!
I capture artists off Leno, Letterman, SNL - wherever!

I never got in to MiniDiscs. The Wall Street Journal had a review of some systems that you can use to transfer vinyl to CD. I have the article at work on my desk, but the turntable that I am looking at has a USB connection and also a line out for hooking it up to the stereo. There is some sort of program that comes with the turntable for recording. Right now I'm using Sound Forge as my audio editor. I may switch over to Cool Edit Pro/Audition soon. I'm running version 6.0 of SF. This is the first time I have actually used/made MP3's and it looks like I have to register the MP3 feature of the program. 6.0 was made back when Sonic Foundry made the program, but Sony bought Sound Forge and they will not help me! So right now I am saving the files that I make as WAV and converting them to MP3 using CDex.

I think that is the one. The negatives that I have seen have been about how the software is not for beginners and it doesn't work well on Macs (I'm a PC person).
I'll have to look around and see what others think.
