Post by: Ridewithme38 on December 10, 2006, 04:41:53 pm
Ok i bought this machine with a pretty crappy taped together power cord hanging out the back of it...
I finally went out today to my local lowes and checked there selection for replacements...all i could find was 115v 13amp....is that good? Does the machine say some were on it how many amp?

Thanks...just wondering

Looks like you found it!, a 16 gauge/13 amp cord was standard on many machines, I use 14 gauge/15 amp replacement cord as it allows me to lenghten the linecord so it's more convienant to get it to the nearest electrical outlet.

You can buy a 14 gauge extension cord usally cheaper that the pre-cut "replacement" cord they sell at the big-box stores like HomeDepot, etc.
