Title: Portal paint sandblasting booth? Post by: davet426 on December 06, 2006, 08:27:10 pm So I am thinking about a portable paint booth. Below is what I have drawn any opinion on why it wouldn't work? Or suggestions on how to make it better? I believe I will use velcro to attach it all, so I can pull it out, quickly set it up, and tear it down and store it when not needed. It will fit in the garage or I can use it outside. Any feedback appreciated.

Here's what I put together in my shop. The curtain is on a over head rail system so when is not in use it stores against the wall out of the way. The explosion prove fan pulls 2650 CFM. This booth was one of my best investments for my shop. Title: Portal paint sandblasting booth? If you can extend that to 10' X 10', you'll be much happier! Ex. If you take a cabinet door and lay it horizontally for painting in an 8' X 8', you'll could have a problem getting around... Just a suggestion... Title: Portal paint sandblasting booth? Post by: rogerz on December 08, 2006, 06:36:31 pm Explosion proof fan thats a key ingredient!
rz Title: Portal paint sandblasting booth? Post by: davet426 on December 08, 2006, 07:11:11 pm I like the curtain. Problem is I'm renting a house until mine sells in Michigan. So I was looking for something I could do out doors or a least sealed (somewhat) in the garage. If the fans are outside of the booth and seperated by a filter from the inside of the booth, would a spark or something still be able to ignite? That would kinda a suck... bad
