I'm trying to locate a post I saw by a member who mentioned they got a Slider shipped for like $85.  It was only a few months ago, but when I go to the bookmark I saved the post is no longer there.  Is there any other way to retrieve the post, or does anyone remember the name of the shipper?

Thanks.

Here is my bookmark to the old post, for what that is worth.

I believe that was SIGNGUY.
Here is the post I think you remember
MCarter had a Cav55 shipped fairly inexpensively also. I think he used UPS Freight.

Yep it was me... not 85 more around 109.... I had a Glasco Slider shipped from Seattle to Minneapolis this fall, I was quoted 125 bucks, but when I saw the shipping receipt It only had $109 marked on it.. Of course the seller did all the packaging in cardboard and blankets and shrinkwrapped it all toegether, they then brought it to forward air terminal for me and Tied it down with a rope to the pallet (forward air doesnt do any of this , so it's on your own or they'll just let it sit on a pallet and chance it) I let them keep the difference as they did drive it almost 60 miles from their home to Seattle for me as well... www.forwardair.com and click on locations to see if there is one near you and the item being shipped... also make sure the shipper will do the work for you... Best bet is to have the shipper build a crate for it as Forward air doesn't take much care in stuff from what I've heard, but I've had good luck on 4 shipments with them. Some require crating some do not.. :happydrinkers:

Thanks guys.  Appreciate the help.   I wonder why my link won't work though.  Strange.
