If your turn a syphon gun the same way you'll spill paint out of the cap and onto your paint job. if your looking for a good HVLP gun for under a 100 bucks I would buy a Sharpe Finex 300. I have 4 of them. I use a 1.3 tip for base/clear coat. 1.5 for single stage. A 1.8 for poly primer and a Finex FX100 1.0 touch up gun.
My next gun will be a SATA satajet 3000 which will only be used for shooting clear coats. this gun is one of thee best for atomizing on the market but costs over 500 bucks.
