I'd like to bid on this, is it to much? How high would you go. Is there any place to get info on coolers like you have for machines. I don't how to determine anything on coolers, although I like them. Thanks Title: Coke Cooler Post by: collecture on December 03, 2006, 08:31:59 pm There is a Collectible Picnic Coolers & Ice Chests book in the Vending rack\Literature page of this site {shameless plug by Jim}.
I think the guy is a little high. Even though he says the inside is clean, I wish he would have taken a pic with the sandwich tray removed. With shipping, you would be paying $110+. I think you can do better unless you really need one. Title: Coke Cooler Post by: davet426 on December 03, 2006, 08:44:38 pm I liked it, plus it looks like an easy restore compared to my LARGER projects. I'll call it my "practice piece", it'll pump me up for the big ones... Unless I suck I got for $84 with ground instead of priority.
Title: Coke Cooler Post by: halehouse on December 03, 2006, 08:59:56 pm That's not bad. It isn't like you overpaid.
Title: Coke Cooler Post by: Jim on December 03, 2006, 09:02:12 pm Dave,
This a very practical way to practice prior to tackling the bigger more expensive projects. There's a lot of gratification in doing things on your own! Title: Coke Cooler Post by: davet426 on December 03, 2006, 09:06:28 pm Thanks Guys! Jim I'm going to get the cooler guide. Nashville has a large swap Downtown every 3rd weekend of the month. I think I could do pretty well with cooler sales alot easier to lug than machines!!!
Title: Coke Cooler Post by: MoonDawg on December 03, 2006, 10:08:56 pm Be careful. The introduction of reproduction coolers that look restored for less than $200.00 seems to have kicked the bottom out of the original cooler market!
By the time I buy and restore a cooler..........I'm in it over $200 Title: Coke Cooler Post by: davet426 on December 03, 2006, 10:20:34 pm Thanks Moondawg. The 4 months I've gone, I've been suprised there is not much coke stuff there repro's or original. I heed your warning though I'll play it cautious. Besides I don't have one, so it will be fun to just restore and keep.

they are the more collectable of the coolers. For £25.00 you can't go wrong. Title: Coke Cooler Post by: Ridewithme38 on December 04, 2006, 04:15:18 am which one?
Title: Coke Cooler Post by: davet426 on December 13, 2006, 11:22:20 pm Received the cooler today. Think I'll start on it this weekend...
