Title: Cavalier diagrams in side main door
Post by: dr galaga on November 29, 2006, 05:32:05 pm
I took (scraped) the wiring diagram off the inside of the door on my Cav CS-80C (it was in pretty poor shape and I wanted to paint the door liner).
What should I use to stick my new diagram on with? Contact cement?
Also, what other diagram would have been below this?  It looks like a smaller sheet was probably glued below this due to the residue that was left.
Here's the wiring diagram:

Mine actually looks like it had something above.

Looks like they probably swapped the placement of the diagrams between our machines.  My wiring diagram is right near the top of the door.

Dr G,  Here is the 2nd diagram I have on my Cavalier. I'd imagine you could recreate this easily.

Thanks,

Is it possible to take a larger picture?  I tried enlarging the one you posted, but it was too blurry to read.  You can email it to me at dr.galaga *at* comcast.net.  Once I recreate it I'll post a high resolution copy for everyone.

Brent,

I personally like to use 3M - 77 adhesive spray.
It comes in a black spray can and is like a sprayable rubber cement.
Use it lightly for paper labels and work from the middle out as to keep
air bubbles from developing.

Do you spray both the paper and door, like you would with contact/rubber cement?

Here is my recreation.
The only think that I changed was the removal of the machine models and I changed the letter after the form number  :;): .
If anyone want to add their model #, the font is Courier New and is 12 pts.
Here is the full-sized version.
A smaller version is below:

3M 77 is awesome! I have been using it exclusively since I started using it (Seeburg Juke Restoration). I had originally bought some cruddy Loctite adhesive spray and it was terrible!

I was home sick today, so I thought that I would make a productive use of my day.  I remade the wiring
diagram for the CS-80C and CS-96C.  Here it is.
A thumbnail of it is below:
