Can someone in a nutshell tell me how to apply water release decal. The instructions seem a bit confusing. What is a good wetting agent to use?? Instructions say use detergent but no soap?? What are the steps that one should follow for safe and great results??

To be honest the ones I have applied I have soaked in a bowl of warm water until they start to turn and then applied them to the machine moved the backing paper and dabbed with a
wet tissue or cloth.
Its worked fine for me. Managed to get rid of those bubbles. Have put a couple of large hands with the bottle on this way without problems.
I think there is a temptation to over do it with the dabbing.

For the one or two that I have done (small decals), I have done like Dave and soaked them in warm water. The decals will just slip off the backing paper. I put it up where I wanted it to go and just pulled the paper out while holding the decal in place. A damp paper towel or a hard rubber squeegee to force out the bubbles.
And, yes - like Dave mentioned don't over do it. Try your best to get it lined up right in the beginning.

They're rigth... soak it in warm water.... it'll start to curl so be careful it
doesn't start sicking together....it will slide right off the card...Get a spray
bottle of water and lightly spray the surface that you want it
applied it will help it move around better. then start from the middle and work the air bubbles out. either a damp sponge or a wet paper towel to work the air out don't press too hard may tear the decal.

I also keep a tooth pick handy just in case a corner folds over.
