Title: Vendo 39 and others! Post by: Sodak Bob on October 25, 2006, 05:21:38 pm I am going to an auction tomorrow. Vendo 39 without the drum, original paint - early model - all red with ice cold on bottom. Good running shape with coin mech. Looks to be in very good shape. What do you think on price??? Drum is not cheap to replace... Also has an old 7up machine - maybe early 60's. and a White Crown gasoline pump with globe( I am not sure if globe is original.) I am not a gas pump guy, but what is it worth. Very good shape. Sorry, no pictures - unless I come home with something.. Thanks for any help.....

Post by: sodaworks on October 26, 2006, 11:20:56 am I would have to agree with Jim. The sq. top would have to be nice at 300.00 My buddy paid 800.00 for a nice white crown globe. If it's on a visable pump the pump itself should be worth at least 1k. If its a clock face 2k.

Title: Vendo 39 and others! Post by: Sodak Bob on October 26, 2006, 04:35:42 pm Well I am back - empty handed. The 39 was in average to good condition, but was missing the drum. The owner would not sell for less than $1000. I told him he was crazy, but I guess it has sentimental value. Same with the 7 up machine and the gas pump, he really didn't want to sell them unless he could get a ridiculous amount of $$ for them. Not for me to pay for his sentiment. So, I am still looking for a 39 - someday....Thanks again for the input!!!!! Much appreciated!!!!!
