Joey Title: Looking for parts Post by: Eric on October 12, 2006, 04:20:09 pm Cool!... Wanna see that machine when you're done....
Wish one would pop up in my area in my $ range. I think that model is way over looked..... Great 50s design, perfect size and everything is embossed on that model..... Have a Coke, Coin.... Very nice machine. Title: Looking for parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on October 12, 2006, 04:33:27 pm There was one about an hr from here I talked to the guy several time on it, His exact words were if I end up needing money i'll sell it. I drove by there a few weeks ago and it was gone I guess he needed the money?? The only thing the machine needed was a coin mech. Josh seen it a few other machines were sitting there as well including a Stoner Jr that someone backed their truck in and drove off with it.
Joey Title: Looking for parts Post by: sodaworks on October 12, 2006, 07:58:21 pm Eric,
This guy contacted last year to restore his machine but I was booked solid. He went ahead and restored it himself, but needs a few more parts. So I will not have any pictures to post on it. Title: Looking for parts Post by: collecture on October 13, 2006, 04:50:09 pm Well, I had a brain lapse. I misread Terry's post in the beginning. I have all the parts exept the bottle chute and flapper. I saw flapper and somehow connected it to the coin return as it has a chrome flapper thing. I have all the chrome for the coin door and the SO flag assembly.
Soooo...if anybody has a bottle chute and flapper for a Westinghouse 42T, I am sure Terry still needs it. Sorry for the mistake Terry - let me know what you want to do. Title: Looking for parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on October 14, 2006, 08:04:53 pm Hey Terry keep your fingers crossed, Today I made the trip to the Westinghouse 42 is. Its still sitting there pushed back on his porch. I left a note so hopefully we can strike up a deal. It has the bottle chute and flapper on it.
Joey Title: Looking for parts Post by: collecture on October 17, 2006, 10:30:34 am Hey Terry,
It looks like eBay seller 'restorick' is selling some 42 parts. He has a BO bezel and a Coin Entry Bezel listed. Maybe he has the Bottle Chute too? |
