Title: My C-51 Post by: CoolCat on October 09, 2006, 11:49:37 pm I've been threatening to take a few pictures of my C-51 to post... and have finally taken the time to do that and make them size-appropriate for posting.
This is basically a survivor machine... though I did get a new compressor and condensor deck from Global. You can see there are a few beauty marks... all I had to do was apply elbow grease to the exterior to get it to the point that it is today. Title: Re: My C-51 Post by: oldcoke on August 19, 2010, 11:13:46 am Mine will (I hope) be looking that good soon. Now in primer and ready for wet sanding. I am just worried about painting the raised letters. Mine is also in great shape and works great and has all parts except for the top fan motor which I need to order. But works just fine with out it.

Title: Re: My C-51 Post by: oldcoke on October 27, 2010, 08:57:45 am How did you do the embossing? Looks good in the pics. It was easy. I got the decal from Fun-Tronics and just stuck them on. Just make sure you use dish soap and water on the decals so you can move it around so you can get it right where it needs to be. Then let it dry before you press it down to hard or it can move on you but make sure there is no air bubbles under the dacal. When dry press down and again make sure all the air is out. It can be a little tricky but turned out great. I did the same on the bottom of the machine. Anyway, that is how I did it. |
