Title: just completed Post by: sodaworks on October 09, 2006, 01:57:39 pm I just completed a pair of 33's late last week. Both are VMC33 split door machines. The Pepsi machine wasn't a true embossed machine although it was painted twice for coke and twice for Pepsi in its previous life. Petey this is the 33 I got from you. I decided to paint it blue and do it up in Pepsi.

I am very excited to finally almost have ONE SWEEET COMPLETED MACHINE. YAHOOO. Currently my wife thinks I have a bunch of garbage at home. We will show her what beautiful machines come out of such.
Cannot wait. Title: just completed Post by: loman4ec on October 10, 2006, 10:47:27 am Terry those look great!!! I love the Pepsi. Those new caps by the soda jerk works really look great on the machine. Great work!
Title: just completed Post by: sodaworks on October 10, 2006, 06:44:41 pm Thanks Guys. I took these two machines and a late model V39 to a antique fair over the weekend. I had several people try to tell me that they were reproduction machines.. It took alot of convincing them that they were indeed restored, but still there was a few people who didn't believe me.. o well, what do you do.
Title: just completed Post by: Creighton on October 10, 2006, 06:57:57 pm Maybe display "before" pics.
Creighton Title: just completed Post by: bcharlton on October 11, 2006, 12:50:19 pm Great restorations. I just bought this VMC 33 embossed Pepsi machine two weeks ago. It needs some body work but it works on a dime and gets cold.
My wife may insist that I sell it now that I have my heart set on restoring an old car. Any idea what this is worth? Thanks for the help. Brian C Title: just completed Post by: MCarter on October 11, 2006, 01:18:22 pm Looks like butt !! nice pictures on the wall. Great score !!!

rz Title: just completed Post by: collecture on October 14, 2006, 11:22:53 am I've seen that Stoner picture of the kid with his arm stuck in the machine - pretty funny! I saw it on eBay I think - is that where you got it?
Title: just completed Post by: sodaworks on October 14, 2006, 03:02:15 pm about week of actual shop time per machine
Title: just completed Post by: bcharlton on October 16, 2006, 07:41:46 am Tom:
It is the same picture. After doing some research, I found that is was taken in Germany in the late forties. I am glad you noticed. Buffalo is still under siege. I ran my power generators in order to save my malt shop from flooding in my basement. My collection is still in tack. Brian C (from Buffalo) Title: just completed Post by: Eric on October 16, 2006, 08:57:18 am Hey BC I noticed that picture too... I watched it... but never bid.... I did
copy it from ebay and is in my candy machine folder I have of machines I hope for... Great picture... is it original?... I need that model....then I'm done. Title: just completed Post by: bcharlton on October 16, 2006, 09:43:45 am Eric,
The Stoner in the picture in a Stoner Junior Delux. It has 120 candy trays. The standard Jr only holds 102 (I think) Curtis can tell you exactly. Brian Title: just completed Post by: MoonDawg on October 16, 2006, 10:43:18 am If possible, could someone share a closer picture with us? I really like that machine.
