Title: Vendo 110 Post by: CoolCat on September 26, 2006, 07:32:42 pm How much would you be willing to pay for an original Vendo 110. It cools well, has the racks and coin mech. The door is in decent shape with some rust in the corner by the glass. Of course, there are the usual beauty marks with a machine this age... a few (very few) dings and scuffs in the paint. I would leave the machine as is with the exception of polishing the paint. Is $1,500 too much?
Title: Vendo 110 Post by: collecture on September 26, 2006, 08:01:16 pm I would think that is way too much! It is a Coca Cola V110 - isn't it?
I see them go for $300 - $800 depending on shape. They are a little big for most people (363 lbs.) - the older I get, the heavier they seem to get. Post a pic if you can. Title: Vendo 110 Post by: CoolCat on September 26, 2006, 08:10:44 pm It is a Coca-Cola V110D. It is a nice looking machine... very clean overall, though it does look as though someone tried to force the coin door lock and bent it a little. I think I'm in lust just because I know the machine is near me and won't have to be shipped... over 360 pounds is a bit hefty. About the same weight as my C-51.
I want a multi-vend machine! I'm even starting to lust after the square tops... how much would you pay for a Vendo 63 (Vendo 56?--- aaarrrgghh) with the faux wood grain? Title: Vendo 110 Post by: SIGNGUY on September 26, 2006, 08:49:58 pm I like the v 110 if you have room and the strong back to move it around.. I think 1500 is a little steep. if it's nice enough for you then obviously do what is in your budget, and the fact that it's local saves you 300-400 in shipping.. so that has to be figured in.
Talk to the seller about the problems and how see if you can get him to come down closer to 1000 or so? I kinda miss mine, but don't miss moving it around . Post pictures... Good luck! Title: Vendo 110 Post by: collecture on September 26, 2006, 08:50:35 pm One will pop up for you! For $1500 - I bet you could find an 81, which I would much rather have over a 110.
I bought my 81A (pictured in the photo section of the site) just a few years ago from somebody in Iowa. I paid $1600 and then $325 to ship. Title: Vendo 110 Post by: sodaworks on September 26, 2006, 09:38:58 pm Nice 110's are avail. at half the price.
Title: Vendo 110 Post by: bubba on September 27, 2006, 05:31:58 am (CoolCat @ Sep. 26 2006,9:10) QUOTE I want a multi-vend machine! I'm even starting to lust after the square tops... how much would you pay for a Vendo 63 (Vendo 56?--- aaarrrgghh) with the faux wood grain? I'm paying between $75-$150 for a working V56-V63 can or bottle machine.. most I've gotten needed a good cleaning and compound, and are ready to use... Title: Vendo 110 Post by: Eric on September 27, 2006, 09:18:40 am You can find a ST for a couple hundred buck still... but they are going up!
Welcome to the board and stick around you'll have 6 machines in no time! Title: Vendo 110 Post by: CoolCat on September 27, 2006, 02:04:24 pm I wouldn't mind having a few more machines... but the wife is trying to impress upon me the fact that I am only allowed one more machine.
Title: Vendo 110 Post by: Eric on September 27, 2006, 03:28:16 pm Yeah.. but that's per room!.... and don't forget the basement (man's land)
or the garage... again... your space.. not hers... how many pair of shoes does she own? .... She doesn't hear you complaining about those... Stand your ground brother (and buy a comfortable couch) Best of luck! Title: Vendo 110 Post by: SIGNGUY on September 27, 2006, 03:55:03 pm I second that... Sure they are bigger than her shoes and probably take up more room, but do here shoes make a whole room look cool, No just her feet.. Machines are much more sexy!!! and they can cool pop and beer to 40 degrees!!! Let's see her shoes do that...
7 and counting for me! Title: Vendo 110 Post by: collecture on September 27, 2006, 07:09:28 pm QUOTE and they can cool pop and beer to 40 degrees!!! They should cool to a medium temperature between 32 and 38 degrees, which is the optimum temperature for Coke (so Coca Cola says); however, I like my beer a little colder. Title: Vendo 110 Post by: sodaworks on September 27, 2006, 07:37:14 pm CoolCat,
Buy all the machines you want and just store them at my place. I will not tell your wife. Title: Vendo 110 Post by: CoolCat on September 27, 2006, 08:56:36 pm Thanks for all the help, guys... I'm working on the shoe vs. Coke machine argument to present it to my wife.
If that doesn't work, I will probably put the Coke machines and my bunk in the shed I'm about to build! In all seriousness, I am hoping to find a reasonably priced multi-vend machine in the near future. The problem is having the patience to wait for the right machine. Title: Vendo 110 Post by: Eric on September 27, 2006, 10:00:17 pm Watch eBay under VENDO... a lot of nice little square tops
pop up from time to time and a reasonable price..... Also watch the craiglist in your area machines pop up on those and a few of us have had great luck running ads in those free papers you can pick up at service/gas stations. Tell everyone you know what you're looking for.... A lot of great finds have been found by some of this site's regulars just by getting the word out! Good luck.... we all can't wait to see what you find in your neck of the woods! We love seeing what is still out there sitting in garages and sheds! Before long you'll be needing a gas pump, jukebox, candy machines and a few arcade machines to keep the pop machine company! This is a great hobby and this is the BEST site! Title: Vendo 110 Post by: CoolCat on September 27, 2006, 10:46:36 pm I have a popcorn machine due to arrive.... already have the old bubble gum machine... I need to get a cocktail table pac man machine, I think...
Title: Vendo 110 Post by: rogerz on September 28, 2006, 12:13:27 am Be careful
You might find one of those shoes where you don't want it And those shoes might not be able to cool pop to 32 degress but I bet whats in them can cool to sub zero in a split second rz Title: Vendo 110 Post by: collecture on September 28, 2006, 08:12:13 am QUOTE And those shoes might not be able to cool pop to 32 degress but I bet whats in them can cool to sub zero in a split second Bitter cold in a heartbeat - I've witnessed it! |
