Title: V-56 In bits
Post by: davethebirdman on September 16, 2006, 04:44:20 pm
Okay Promise you won't laugh.

I'm putting my V-56 back together slowly but surely.
The one area I can't find a picture for, and I'm sure I took one was the inside of the coin door.

Could someone plse take a photo for me. Its a large coin door. I have alsorts of bits and pieces and I'm trying to work out where they go. Its 10.45pm and I'm going to bed with a bit of a headache.

Thanks

Dave

Dave,
Here is a start. Will need to take the coin mech off for anything better (no problem). Can you post a pic of the leftover parts and pieces? Might speed things up.

Josh - Thanks for the pictures.

Jim & Creighton thanks for the PM's.

I should have explained myself a little better last night but after spending the day struggling with insulation and then breaker strips I was worn down and at my lowest eb.

The problem I cant seem to work out, even with the manual is the "Bent Coin Release." How do I get it to stay in the upright position.

This was the bit of the machine my dear old dad too to bits whilst I poped out for a tool and his skills with a Digital camera are not what they should have been.

At the mo my bent coin relase lever is sitting downwards. I need to be able to get some tauntness in it.

Hoped I explained that a bit better. Went to bed last night dreaming of vending racks and coin mechs.

Dave

Notice in Creighton's picture, there is a spring. One end of the spring attaches to a little nipple sticking out and the other end to the slide. The little nipple is actually part of the coin door itself and not part of the bezel or anything.

In addition to what Tom said, that little spring is difficult to install so use needle nose pliers and some patience.  :drinking:
