Title: Finishing cavalier 72
Post by: TheGarbageHunter on August 22, 2006, 06:39:48 pm
Well I finally decided to finish this cavalier 72. Need some help. I had the inner tub sandblasted and powder coated silver/chrom. Came out great but now has a few small nail size holes located near the corners. I take it they developed due to rust and sandblasting. How should I fill them?? I have heard a few people talke about sealing thier inner cabinet and back of tubes with some type of undercoating, whats the name brand?? Store?? Any and all ideas would be great.

???
Thanks

If you go to an autoparts store and get some rubberized undercoating, you can spray the inside of the cabinet. As far as the liner goes, if it is close enough to the corners, seam sealer or silicone may cover it up.
