Would that surface rust be much of a problem? The machine is not far from my parents home. My dad said he could pick it up for me, but I'm not sure this one would be that easy to restore. What do you all think?

The paint just doesnt hold up as well as a darker color.

That mech looks as if it has not been tampered with since new. It has the penny, nickel, dime or quarter rejector on it. It doesn't look rusty, so it would probably be a nice restore.
