Title: Vendo 83 parts Post by: Gumbo on August 20, 2006, 07:07:22 am I've got some part for a Vendo 83 that I do not need. If anyone here is intrested, PM me. Nice orginial tag, the coin catcher is in good shape. The honeycomb drum needs some work, but is restoreable. There is also the red "star" piece that the bottles came through. It has a little rust, but not through-could be restored. What do you call that piece? Also, can this coin catcher be used on any other machine? Maybe a V-110? See photo. Please email me if you are interested, if not I'm going to post it on ebay soon.

Title: Vendo 83 parts Post by: audiobeer on August 20, 2006, 09:56:15 pm I'd put a good minimum on the drum. There's a lot of folks with good machines but no drum, so put a reserve on it and run it for ten days. Judt my two cents.

Title: Vendo 83 parts Post by: audiobeer on August 25, 2006, 09:54:33 pm I sure don't. I have a schematic of it somewhere. If I was you I would just sell it all as one item. I remember running my 83 with Miller ponies one year in the garage. We didn't get much done at the end of the day and I'm a A/B beer drinker. Not much of a Miller beer fan so it got pretty expensive keeping a functional nostalgic machine running for all my pals. I paid $100 for my 83 and it worked. Sold it on Ebay for $650 to a Dentist in Florida who wanted it for his office.
Title: Vendo 83 parts Post by: collecture on August 26, 2006, 03:10:46 am It is called the Index Plate. When the Vend Door is opened, the Index Plate and the Bottle Drum move, in conjunction with one another, to the next bottle to be vended.
