To all my friends that wished me a happy B-day, I want to say thanks.  I have not been busy with the discussion board because my wife is demanding that I seek counceling for my secound addiction.  I am buying an old 1932/or 31 5 window Ford deuce coupe and will begain a complete frame off restoration with a 3 inch chop.  She thinks it may be a difficult task becuase I can't even change the oil in my regular cars.

Here is what I do know.  If you have the heart and the passion, (as well as friends like Matt, Curtis, and Allen,) you can do anything.  This project will take 2-3 years depending on the help I can get.

Also, 3 years ago, I knew nothing about restoring old soda machines and I now have 7 working soda machines from the 50s in my home.  I would have never been able to figure this stuff out with the help of my friends from this discussion group.  I hope building a car comes with a group of friends as well.

I will be accepting any help with regards to my new quest.

Ps  Any one know any discussion groups out there that may help me?

Brian C

What fun!! If you have a local street rod club those guys will help. I'd have a shop do the chop. Tricky business and you kinda only get one try :-)
Pictures as it goes please.
Thanks,
Creighton
