May have the chance to purchase this Ideal 35 Slider. Can anyone identify the logo on the front of this thing? It looks like it has been painted a number of times. I still need to find out whether it cools and whether it comes with the rack, but what would you offer for this thing (a range based on what it comes with). thanks in advance.

Tru-ade is the name on the front.
Value------- $400 if complete.
That dent is hard to fix, I have one the same and I can't drill and pull it. May have to remove the liner

Yep,Moondawg is correct on Tru-Ade This Cooler has Also been listed on e-bay a couple time with only low bids.Looks like a lot of work .But If it really really cheap get it & play around .

I agree that Dent would require you to take the liner and everything out to get it from the inside and that's just a big ol mess... I'd only pay 200 for it if it doesn't have the rack... with rack.. maybe 300=350??

If you are going to restore it, you would want to remove the liner anyway, right?

dents, why are people so picky about dents... if one can repair a dented car, surely a soda machine with less parts is easier to fix.... I'm fixing the dents in a Mini Austin right now its probably the worse thing to fix besides a Soda cooler lol.
Oh and I think those sliders are really kewl, I want one....I really do..

the 35 is harder to find, nice smaller size and can be made into any brand...
if it's complete try $300 and go from there....
And Moondawg has been restoring these for quite a while... if HE says it's a tuff dent be
prepared.... this stuff ain't the flimsey metal you see in cars today...

Also... see if you can get a shot of that cooler behind it? What is that?.... It looks
like some type of cooler anyway to me.... may be a rare one! try a 2 for 1 deal!

It's not the dent that's hard to get out, it's removing the whole cooling system and coils to get at the back side of the dent... yes, if your doing a full restore, you'll go through the trouble of removing the innards (no fun task) see other posts about Bryan H doing his Pepsi SLider restoration. it's a lot of work to remove the coils.
But yes once it's done.. I'm sure the dent would come out easily....

The only way to buy a machine like that is to think of it as parts. To pull the liner, clip the lines, replace the thermostat and wiring.....all these things take a crapload of time. If you are doing it because you have a specific need for it then cost is your only concern. To take a generic 35 slider and redo it is quite frankly a loser from a practical standpoint. How many of us have bought a generic slider and have it sit around because after the sale you just can't justify restoring it. I wouldn't spend more than $200 on that machine and the smarter restorers here wouldn't give more than $100. The fact of the matter is I have paid $300 for a generic 35 in allmost as rough as shape. I just don't always practice what I preach.
