Title: Vendo 44
Post by: audiobeer on July 24, 2006, 07:54:55 pm
This is the last time we'll see this 44 in the present condition. Loading it to take to Randy in Springfield. He'll gut it and I'll pick it back up to work on the shell. Hope it will all be done by Christmas. I'll have the body work along with the patching done by the beginning of September and then leave it with the master to put it all back together. Hope to post pictures of it's progress.

Audiobeer. I don't have any projects. I am going back to Singapore on Sunday. I sold everything off except a transition VMC56. I sure miss buying machines though.

I dropped off the 44 and the the Junior for Randy to letter today. Gas prices are really getting to be a pain. It cost me $75 for a round tripper. Randy and Karen are busy as heck. I didn't know he sold neon signs too......now I got some trade bait! Josh are you going to be in Singapore for some length of time? Glad for your Dad but we will sure miss you if your gone long! If you get a chance check out my little R-1 down there. I couldn't get the lock mech to fit and I didn't want to butcher the door.

Yes I am into phonebooths. Love to get them desecrtated and painted (price is right at that point).   I have had some beautiful ones but there was always someone that wanted it more than I do. I only have on booth now.

I work for SBC...well... now AT&T... Have several old phones now.... had a SWEET payphone and
was looking for a wooden phonebooth... but have given up... too pricey now... needed
the money so I sold it ... it was a AE (american Electric) anyway was wanting a WE (Bell)
so I am holding out for one of them... About 98% of my collection is WE so I gotta stay true.

I've got a replica in the booth now. Haven't got around to replacing the phone. If you see one local Eric let me know.
