Title: Micsellaneous parts
Post by: collecture on July 20, 2006, 12:16:06 pm
I am going through some of the boxes of parts I have and getting rid of some things I don't think I need anymore. If anybody here needs anything, let me know and we'll discuss the condition, etc.
1. Vendo Coin Changer original plexi-glass cover
2. Vendo Coin Changer coin deflector (three tabbed piece that pivots in and out of the coin chute and deflected coins to the coin return when the machine is empty)
3. Cav 51 coin box and bracket (box will work on a Cav 33 also)
4. Selectivend 48 / 96 Coin Box and bracket with lock
5. Selectivend 48 / 96 SO flag and cast pieces that mount on front and rear
6. Selectivend 48 / 96 Instructional plates and CR / BO plates that rivet to the coin door
7. Complete Vendo Junior Water Fountain
8. Vendo 80 Water Fountain Lines and air duct channels (right channel has been modified to allow the lines to be run). No water fountain.
9. Set of 7 shelves - not sure what machine they go to - measure 18" long and 6 5/8" wide - has a horizontal hook type notch on the left and an indented vertical tab on the back right about 1/2" from the back.
10. Numerous coin boxes, cap catchers and drip pans from square tops. I have no idea what most of them go to, but if you write with approximate dimensions and composition (metal or plastic), I'll see if I have one.
11. Cav 27 complete shell and liner with an few other small parts. It has the coin door also, but no mech or drum. This was a fire victim and has some slight warpage to some of the body, but it is not bad.
12. A 25/10/5 changer mech for a late model Stoner or other candy/cigarette machine (exact model unknown)
I also have a Cav 51 cooling system without fans, a evaporator I think will fit a V110, 6-case vertical or an 81 and a late model V39 cooling system (working condition unknown).
Pictures available on request.
Thanks!

12. A 25/10/5 changer mech for a late model Stoner or other candy/cigarette machine (exact model unknown) I think I may need this but will will have to double check. What are you wanting for these? Thanks Terry

I am pretty sure I don't have any ST56 parts - what I have is pretty much uncommon stuff. I still need to dig the box out, but I know I have quite a few different styles. The only ones I know what they go to are the Westinghouse cap catchers for like the WC44 and the MD's. I'll check though.

Hi Tom

I need a coin box for my Jacobs 50. I know you won't have the exact box but if I give you the measurements can you see if you have anything that might fit.

Its 4" tall
     5.5" wide
     3" depth.

Thanks - Dave

Dave,
I'll dig that box out this morning and see what I have. I seem to recall something about that size.

Here is a snapshot of the misc stuff.
Greg - second from left and second row from top looks it might be a ST56 cap catcher if you can get me measurements.
Dave - Second from the right -top row has close measurements. I'll email you a better picture.

Tom... I labeled a few things I think may be... I think what I labeled a v56 cap catcher is wrong.. I didn't notice the tab at the top... :blushing:

Thanks Bubba!
Yes, that is a coin box for a V80 and probably others.
The one you labeled V56 is for the Westinghouse WC44 and MD vendors
The one under the USS Cav drain pan is very similar to my Cav55 drain pan, so I am pretty sure is goes to a Cav as well.
The one just to the right of that is just like my Cav55 cap catcher, but longer. I am pretty certain it goes to a Cav machine. Maybe a single selection Cav55?
The thing just up and to the right of the USS Coin box is a compressor cover and not a box of any sort.
Thanks again for the info!

Dave,
The only box that is close to your measurements is the second from right on the top row.
It is 4 13/16" high in the front and 4 1/4" in back; 4 1/8" wide; 3" deep.
I don't know if it will work for you.

Hey Tom,

I get ~2.75" between the tangs and up to 10" tall.

Maybe 2nd row 1st or 2nd in from left, or last one in row?

Hi Greg,
I don't have a 56ST cap catcher. The 56ST I had utilized a galvanized metal cap catcher. As I recall, the VMC77 had a cap catcher similar to the second from left on the second row and it also had a tab sticking out for the catcher to sit on. The 56ST cap catcher (pictured below) has two holes on the back side to hang on the two tabs sticking out just below the BO housing (you have the tabs in your picture). Sorry! If I find one, I'll let you know.

I have 7 of the shelves pictured below. Can anyone tell me what machine they belong to?
18" long by 6 1/2" wide with a hook extension.
