Title: Casters / wheels on ideal Post by: BryanH on July 06, 2006, 10:39:11 am Kevin - I see that you have casters on your RC Cola Ideal55. Can you send me a pic of how they're mounted? I'd like to put some on mine. It has holes that would accept the posts but nothing else. I'm not sure how well they would stay on if they were just put on with bolts. On the square tops I've had the legs were threaded into a bolt that was welded to the base.
If anyone else has pics or description, I'd appreciate it. I picked some up for my Cavalier at Menards (I would imagine that Home Depot and Lowes should have them too). They had quite a variety of them. They just screw in to the place where the posts were.

Anyway - my slider only has holes where the caster posts would go... no welded nut. Question is whether or not a washer and nut on the caster post would be stable enough? Title: Casters / wheels on ideal Post by: MoonDawg on July 06, 2006, 05:52:13 pm Yes, nuts and washers work fine.
