Title: Jukes Post by: bubba on April 20, 2006, 08:22:32 pm I know we are a soda machine site, but there are an aweful lot of people into more than soda machines. What about adding a section for things like Jukes, or candy machines, or arcade games... instead of piling them all into the general section here.
Anyway, there is this juke on craigslist by me that is pretty cheap I think. I don't really know what it is, and the guy can't give me a pic. Before I go outta my way and have a look at it, does anyone have a pic or any info on what this machine may look like?? I've tried searching google, but nothing came up... 1960`S SEEBURG MODEL PFEAIU JUKEBOX JUKEBOX http://newjersey.craigslist.org/for/152955384.html Title: Jukes Post by: dr galaga on April 20, 2006, 08:43:43 pm I am probably going to make a "sister site" of SMC for jukes. This may be my summer project since I've been pretty busy this spring with a bunch of projects. (Jim: I think I'm going to use regular html instead of MySQL. I haven't had a chance to try it out.)

That would be cool. It would be nice to keep it somewhat tied to this one. I like this group of people and I can't imagine running into another site that is just as knowledgeable and friendly as this one. Title: Jukes Post by: kstt on April 21, 2006, 01:01:27 pm Bubba - look for a Seeburg Q or a Seeburg DS. These were some of the last of the viewable mechs, and can be found pretty reasonably. 1959-1962 vintage.
Title: Jukes Post by: davethebirdman on April 21, 2006, 02:03:26 pm Bubba - Just did a search on Craigslist in New Jersey and there seems to be a nice Seeburg AY160 FOR THE BARGAIN PRICE OF $450.00. Might be worth a little bit of investigation.
Dave Title: Jukes Post by: bubba on April 21, 2006, 03:45:40 pm Thanks guys... I'm not actively shopping for one - I don't think... If I see something come along at the few peanuts I can afford, I'd probably grab it. Kinda how that Pepsi machine ended up in my garage..
Title: Jukes Post by: Jim on April 21, 2006, 04:18:42 pm That's an idea...
I can create a new "Other Coin-Op's" Discussion Area until Brent gets his juke site up and running this summer... Let me know what everyone wants... Title: Jukes Post by: on April 22, 2006, 09:36:09 am A Juke site set up like SMC would be GREAT! Would be much better than newsgroups. Owner of 3 wurlitzers
Title: Jukes Post by: Skeleton Man on April 22, 2006, 02:55:25 pm Under "Other Coin-Op's" I was thinking forums like Arcade, Jukes, Change Machines, etc
If anyone else can think of more categories that would be great Title: Jukes Post by: dr galaga on April 22, 2006, 06:42:01 pm Yea, Other Coin-Ops would be good for the gumball machines, Stoners, etc!
Title: Jukes Post by: Lulu on April 23, 2006, 08:40:44 am Ditto!!
