Title: Transitional large door coin mech Post by: TheGarbageHunter on April 11, 2006, 11:01:45 am Well I plan on placing this coin mech that I came across, on ebay soon. As a means to not mislead anyone trying to gather as much info before listing. Its a large door transitional coin mech aka:canadian coin mech. I have one just like it on my vendo 81D. The only differance is that the one I plan on selling has a 2inch rod (coming out the back) and the one on my vendo 81D has a 3inch rod (coming out the back). Based on this the mech I plan on selling will probably not work on an 81D. What machine uses a large door coin mech but requiers a 2inch rod??? I am sure it can be modified or a longer rod added for it to work on an 81D but I do not feel like messing with it.
Any Ideas?? Thanks Title: Transitional large door coin mech Post by: coke_and_stuff on April 11, 2006, 11:37:01 pm You can make your mech work, go to a home depot or lowes or anybody who sells metal and you can buy steel rods, The steel rod can be welded on to make up the difference. I personally have not done this but have seen it and it does work.

If you decide to do this try machining a sleeve 2" long and cut the rod back a 1" and weld it back into place. This will keep the rod straight. |
