Title: Uss 8-48

I don't remember if I ever asked, but does anyone know about a Cavalier USS 8-48?  My Cavalier reads that it is a model 8-48, but I don't know how it would be different from a 8-64. Anyone know? Vendingmachinesrus.com lists a manual for a USS 8-48 machine.

Nice machine. I have the USS-64. Mine looks wider. I'll try to get measurement. I can get 8 cans or bottles on the shelf.

Dan,
Great looking box!! My USS-64-8 is 2' 5'' wide if that helps. Looks to be the same design. Bottle/can rack is still in a gadzillion pieces so not sure how much product goes on each shelf.

Yep, measures just about 2 feet 5 inches across and 55 inches tall. Oh well, if there is such a thing as a USS 8-48 and it is different than the 8-64 I don't know what it would be.

I bet it was to do with the bottle size.  I bet it holds 64 6.5 ounce bottles or 48 10/12 ounce bottles or cans.

It does hold 8 cans on each of 8 shelves.  I was just wondering because I am going to order a manual and was debating if I should order the 8-48 or 8-64.  They are probably pretty similar manuals.

Thanks Bubba and Creighton, it is a pretty clean machine.  The compressor is off to Eric at Global Comp. as we speak. I will be looking forward to getting that back and finishing getting this cleaned up and running.

Dan,
Let me know if you need any help. Easy to work on. Carefull if you take the stack out. It is a heavy beast. The back right hand side evaporator screw is fun to get out isn't it :-)

Thanks Creighton. Believe it or not that was the easier of the two to get out. Yeah it wasn't as easy to access, but the one on the left was a ***ch.

Dan,
You got lucky!! I had to Dremal the right side to accept flathead so I could get a good grip with a long screwdriver. Busted at least 6 cutoff blades :-)

Actually, not so lucky.  The screw on the left is what lead me to go to Lowes and get myself a Dremel set!  :p
