Well, the best laid plans never go right...
His due date was April 15th and we had a scheduled caesarean for April 5, but the little guy didn't want to wait that long. The wife's water broke at 12:30am today and he was born via caesarean section at 3:38am. After 10 pots of coffee, mom and baby are healthy and daddy's proud. It was rough and my hand has no blood left in it, but everything came out alright. Very tired and wired!!

You never know Joey. You got to be ready to go at a moments notice. I thought I had 10 days left. Her caesarean was scheduled 10 days ahead already, so he really came out 3 weeks early.

Some places are sacred according to the wife; however, she wants a Disney theme in the new baby room and I did talk her into putting the sign (that is my Avatar) in the room.
Got to go now and get the older child to school and go the hospital.

Tom - congrats. Always nice to know that despite our best laid plans everything works out fine. Once things settle down a bit give me a ring and we'll meet at the Satisfied Frog or the Horny Toad (yes folks those are real restaurant names in our area - right across the street from each other) and the first drink is on me.
