Well I was cleaning out my new vendo 44 today and found a new friend. I had a Gecko as a pet when I was in Daytona but he died. Kate and I went and got him a cage and some crickets. Now we have a new pet.

We have 4. Fun critters. We give them crickets every two weeks. Mealworms every 3 or 4 days. Cage temp needs to be around 75 and a few drops of "reptile safe" in the water will get rid of the chlorine and such. There is a product "reptile shedding aid" that is good and they need a source of calicum powder as well. Any questions let me know.

You guys are lucky the only friends I ever find have 8 legs and want to kill me. Well at least I think they do LOL.

I have found a few 8 leg friends too. I am a wimp when it comes to spiders. I have found a few wolf spiders and once when I was living in an apartment in Daytona I brought a pepsi vendorlator 56 inside and later kate found a HUGE brown recluse in our bed. I hate spiders!!!!

Lots of black widows here in the Ca. machines. Maybe there snacking on the gecko's?

Yeah the ones I find have 8 legs also and a fiddle on their back... Brown Recluse. I take great pride in killing them. They all have the same name I guess because I yell Mother F****R just before I smash them.
