Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: on January 19, 2006, 02:32:35 pm Not sure if you folks have ever heard of this company, but if you're looking for good quality soda for your machines. Check out Boylan Bottling Co. It's out of N.J, and they sell the sodas at Trader Joes and a couple of other places. The sodas are much better then the sugary stuff you get know. They use pure cane sugar and no caffeine. And their prices aren't that bad either. 11.6 oz bottles, fit well in both my machines.

Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: on January 19, 2006, 06:26:53 pm I'm in Oceanside, about 45 minutes north of San Diego. The bottling company is located in Patterson, N.J. They have a website, it's www.boylanbottling.com The two machines I have are a V-56 and a CSS-141G, both square tops. I'm trying to restore them, but not sure where to start. I bought the catalog from Fun-Tronics, and plan on starting within the next week or so. Anybody restored a 141G? If you're east of the Mississippi, then Costco would be your best bet for the sodas. Costcos west of the Miss, don't sell them yet...they're on a road show.
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: johnieG on January 19, 2006, 07:06:24 pm Yes, Boylans' is available here in the big "mitten" the other nice thing is their bottle crowns (bottle caps, that is) are actually printed with the flavor on them! a big plus over Jones soda, why? it makes it easier to tell what flavor is what in a glass-door machine!
More good news , the little Pepsi & Diet Pepsi 10 oz glass bottles have finally started to appear here in S.E. Michigan too! And my local Mexican market just got a fresh shipment of 12oz. glass Cokes,Pepsi's & Sprites, Fresca too! (my wifes favorite) ah! soon it will be spring & time to roll out the Faygo VF56 back out onto the Deck! Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: bubba on January 19, 2006, 07:58:17 pm I'm gonna have to give it a try.... How is their Cola?
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: on January 19, 2006, 08:00:11 pm The only flavors I can vouch for are the Creme Soda, Root Beer, Orange Creme Soda, Birch Beer, and Black Cherry. I know they sell a "Cane Cola", but not sure about the quality. If anything like their others, it's good. I just dig the no caffeine, no corn syrup in a glass bottle sodas. I bought 48, thought the wife would kill me...but she likes black cherry...and daughter likes Orange Creme...lol
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: dr galaga on January 19, 2006, 09:38:02 pm I believe Boylan's is available pretty much nationwide - not all stores that carry them carry all the flavors though. Their Red Birch Beer is good and so is their orange creme. I did not care much for the Cane Cola - has a little bit of a funky taste (I would rather drink Coke or Pepsi out of a can!).
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: sodaworks on January 19, 2006, 10:56:40 pm Never tried Boylan's. I'll have to test it out on the kids.
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: BrianB on January 20, 2006, 06:59:56 am I'll have to check Boylans out. But, I'm still waiting for Glass Bottle Pepsi to make it down here into Indiana....I can only dream....
Title: Awesome bottled soda company Post by: kstt on January 20, 2006, 08:41:34 am I live in NJ and just stumbled on Boylan's recently at an outlet in Flemington. The bottles are great - have a real 50s look and the labeling is painted on the bottles, and the caps are classic looking as well. Just right for my Cav 72!
