Title: Ideal 300b Post by: jasmine64 on January 18, 2006, 06:13:47 pm I found an Ideal 300B has anyone ever dealt with that model. Not sure what they want for it. I'm sure it needs a cooling system and has some surface rust inside.
No inside rack. I may end up passing.. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: Creighton on January 18, 2006, 08:44:27 pm Hi Jasmine,
Don't know about the 300B but congrats on post #600 :-) Creighton Title: Ideal 300b Post by: sodaworks on January 18, 2006, 09:04:30 pm It's pretty bulky for a slider. I know where a few 300's are located that are complete. They where asking 200 bucks a piece.
Title: Ideal 300b Post by: jasmine64 on January 18, 2006, 09:04:37 pm Cool, just realized it when you mentioned it. Never really pay much attention to the left side of the
posts. How does that work anyway. Terry , I'm not sure if I want to try to take on that monster. He has a cavalier 12 I'm trying to talk him out of. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: dr galaga on January 18, 2006, 09:44:45 pm

Title: Ideal 300b Post by: Lulu on January 19, 2006, 07:07:03 am Jasmine,
I've got a 300 B (I think). Someone removed the tag. They are heavy!! I'm going to restore it this summer, so if you decide to get it, we can work through it together. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: BrianB on January 19, 2006, 07:47:11 am Jas - Congrats on your 600th post!
How much do they want for the 300? If it's super cheap maybe you could turn it on Ebay. Just a thought. A Cavalier 12 would be pretty cool. They have really nice lines. But, a Cavalier CD-12 is way larger than the 300B. It's 72" wide vs. the 300B at 54" wide. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: Eric on January 19, 2006, 08:56:33 am This is the only place I don't mind being called a jerk!
I had at one time a 300 Ideal Squirt was basicly a deep freeze... Too big... sold it off with a bunch of other machines... Unless you have a patio or some place big enough to keep it..... Title: Ideal 300b Post by: jasmine64 on January 19, 2006, 10:17:32 am Well I have the cavalier cd 22, that is going out back by the pool and grill when it's finished. I'm trying to look for something in the line of another 56 or 63.
Right now I'm just looking. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: sodaworks on January 19, 2006, 02:27:47 pm I have a client that wants me to restore his 300 for him. It has mint porcilen Dr Pepper signs on it. I told him that it was going to cost more than what it is actually worth. He said it belonged to his Grandfather and wants it restored.
Title: Ideal 300b Post by: sodaworks on January 19, 2006, 02:29:37 pm audiobeer is right the cooling does look like a turbine.

Lulu, If I do get one I'd like a complete one then we can compare notes. The challenge intriques me. Something different. My cav 22 is going to the painters soon so I'm pretty idle right now. My hubby's ready for me to find one to tinker with soon, cause I've been dropping hints to turn the storage room off the laundry into a half bath. He's ready to run screaming to the hills. Title: Ideal 300b Post by: Lulu on January 20, 2006, 01:29:08 pm Maybe I ought to try something like that
