Title: V83 for under $250 Post by: johnieG on December 11, 2005, 10:47:07 pm I've got a local seller with a complete Vendo V-83 (early model) for under $250, Now I'm not a big fan of the V-39 or the V-83, (or the Cavalier C-51 for that matter) being that they only vend one flavor, let alone "Coke", but the machine is funtional & complete, straight and rust-free (although it need to be rewired in my opinion) I'm thinking of buying to resell anyway..so what are any thoughts on this one?
My first thought is that it's only value to me is that it shares the same cabinet/chassis as the Vendo V-110 & 6-Case models, and I figure that the drum should be a good resale item if I part 'er out...hmmmm Title: V83 for under $250 Post by: loman4ec on December 11, 2005, 11:38:11 pm Well do you still need a cabnet for the Pepsi 110? By the way do you still have it? If so any progress?

They're not that bad.... and you're right pass on this one a nd a RC or Pepsi 110 will pop up with a rusted out shell...... You got room to store it? Eric Title: V83 for under $250 Post by: Eric on December 12, 2005, 06:16:24 pm Might be good for a trader machine too...
Can't find any round tops here lately.... I guess I'm done till the spring.. I've ran an ad for a month with nothing..... Thought sure someone would have called..... Title: V83 for under $250 Post by: johnieG on December 12, 2005, 10:41:27 pm Thanks for the opinions people! Well you talk me into it, I got it for $225.00, I'll pick 'er up Friday...it's a solid machine, & it's a got a very good cabinet anyway, Josh, Yes I still have the Pepsi/Vendo V-110 & it's kinda on a back burner. I got a large-door V110/Coke shell from MoonDawg in trade a while back that's in good shape, but I think I'll use this V-83 cabinet instead & restore the largedoor V-110/Coke he sent me too, once I clean out some of my repaired/refurfished squarecorner machines to make some "elbow" room in the "SodaBarn" for the round-corners, I've been insulating it to make the shop area more comfy in the winter
(Brrr it was -2F this morning!), but my little wall-electric heater keeps the shop at a workable 40-degrees, plus it's hard enough shuffling machines around with the '59-ElCamino up on blocks for the winter...
