Title: Wurlitzer repro for $5k
Post by: BryanH on December 06, 2005, 08:17:39 pm
Just came across this in the frontgate catalogue...  Not sure why you would buy a knock-off for that kind of money, but that's just my opinion.

Have you ever seen one in person. They are junk. The whole white part on top is plastic. They do vend two flavors and will vend anything but still. They make them in Coke Corona and harley Davidson. They really don't look good.

Your right Petey,
Dinuba Dave did an outstanding job on the Jr cooler. The Wirlitzer 44 is junk in my book. You can find these on ebay from time to time for alot less money. I personally will not be buying one.

5 grand?!!!??!! You can get a nice original for about $1000 less!
And I agree about the little coolers very nice! Wish they'd make them in other brands!

Had a reproduction 44 in here for service.  All vending functions must be programmed with a 4 key touchpad. Their instructions and technical help were vague. I never did get it to vend.
Compressor was shot too. Neat thing, is the entire cooling system comes out like the bottom drawer of your filing cabinet.

Now the reproduction Juniors are great! I have already sold 9 of them since March. Big selling point is they are on casters and weigh less than 90 lbs. and can be rolled indoors or out.
