I think I'm going to have to replace the red embossed lids on my Cav 22. So if anyone has only the red lid, let me know. (the steel ones are in great shape keeping those)

Thanks, I have that one bookmarked found it this morning.
I believe it has been up on auction before. I believe at one time he was just selling the lids for 150
Could have been another auction, the auctions lately are starting to run togther.
I have my salvage guy looking for some lids. He thought he had some, but when we went to his shed,
someone had already been there cleaned out the lids, shelves and compressors.
He has a pretty good idea which employee he fired took them.
I may not hear from him in a while, he is always on the road looking for bargains.

32 3/4 x 11 1/2. give or take a 1/4 inch.

Hey Terry,
Doesn't Steve Ebner sell lids for the older, pre WWII boxes?
Is there anyone that reproduces lids for the later, bow chest boxes, Cav.CMD or Westinghouse 10 or 12 or in Marsha's case, the 22?
Just wondering.
