Title: Vendo hd56a
Post by: on August 22, 2002, 03:45:35 am
I have had this machine for some time and would like to know what I have got. The Model #HD56A Serial #9MF014605 MFR'S#01C7020ZA It was made by Vendo in Kansas City, MI. The machine has a "Brown" 8-Raised Panel Swing door, and has a 5 & 10 cent coin slot. Their are 7 bottle slots. It is in fairly good "original" un-restored shape. It has been kept indoors, with no evident rust. The magnectic door seal is completely intact and the "Enjoy Coca-Cola" decal is un-scratched. The outer shell has some scratches, but no dents. My question is: How much is it worth? What year is it? Should I restore it "paint?" or leave as is? I am thinking of selling it, but do not want to get "robbed", if an offer made is far below it's value. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

A photo of your machine would be a first place to start.
so we can help you determine if it is a keeper.

I believe this model is now listed in the Soda Machines Vendo Section as the model D-56-7. There are two versions as you will see.

As far as a value is concerned, I'm not really sure...  ???

You don't see these come up for sale frequently...
