Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: loman4ec on August 19, 2005, 11:36:50 pm I have a friend that lives here in Cincy that has a cup dispenser machine that he would like to sell. It is a really neet machine. It was origionally a Dr Pepper machine but was converted to a generic machine. It still cools but the dispenser is untested but looks to be complete. The machine is complete except for the coin mech. It does require a large coin door coin mech. Please PM me if anyone is interested. Josh

What are the possibilities of acquiring a couple of better photos for use on SMC...? And secondly, are there any ID Tags to identify the manufacturer/model...? Is this machine being stored outdoors, unprotected...? Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: loman4ec on August 20, 2005, 08:06:23 am Yes it is outside. I am going to try to get there today to take some more pics.

Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: loman4ec on August 20, 2005, 09:42:05 am It doesn't look like I will be able to get there today but I will get some pics somehow. I do know that the machine is complete besides the coin mech and it does cool. I think he wants $500 for it. It is also really nice. There doesn't seem to be any rust on it at all and only a few dents.
Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: MoonDawg on August 20, 2005, 10:41:52 am I like it! Would look great restored.
Large door coin mech. requires a push handle to allow bottle removal. Cup vendors need to signal cup drop then a fill valve. You sure it won't work with a coinco ? Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: loman4ec on August 21, 2005, 11:12:11 am All that I know is that it had a large door mechanical coin mech with a push handle origionally. If you look just to the right of the lock on the front you can see the oval hole for the push handle. I am leaving to go back to Memphis in a few hours and he is out of town. The owner is going to pull the machine out and take some better pics for me. I should have them sometime this week.
Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: johnieG on August 21, 2005, 12:41:44 pm I like it! it's small enough, round-cornered, & has (had) a crank..yea, Josh, you gotta rescue this one, sitting outside, all alone..in the dark...poor thing. it's kinda making me miss my ColeSpa 6A, (except the lifting part!) I wonder if the sign is a "light-up" ? & I see that it's a two-flavor "Pre-select" machine, where you'd have to select which flavor of sodapop you wanted before dropping in your coin. ( Just like the Westinghouse "Select-o-Matics") do you know if it has an ice maker built in? (probably not, it's pretty compact)....

I have so many issues with that! Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: MoonDawg on August 24, 2005, 12:46:45 pm Wow. I see where the shaft for the crank handle fits a linkage system inside the main door. 2 shafts attatched. One to trigger a cup drop, the other opens a dispenser valve. All mechanical. Interesting time delay, looks like a small bicycle pump.

Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: on September 07, 2005, 01:18:31 am As far as it's look as a machine, it's awesome. In terms of it actually being used to dispense beverages, um... thank heaven for cans.
Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: sodaworks on September 07, 2005, 10:32:35 am I just bought a Glassco cup dispenser machine. I will post pictures of it as soon as I pick it up. It's all there and it works! So I am told. It will be about 3 weeks before I can go get it. (Road trip).

Where able to get better pictures and possibly the manufacturer/model...? Terry, Congrats on your acquisition! If it's a Glasco model I don't have pictured, may I ask for permission to utilize a couple of good photos...? Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: sodaworks on September 07, 2005, 10:57:02 pm Jim, I will provide you with pictures.
Title: Cup dispenser machine for sale Post by: BrianB on September 08, 2005, 07:09:13 am For some strange reason I can't view any of the pictures of this cup dispenser except the very first one. I know it's not a computer prob / browser prob on my side. What gives?
I would really like to see some more pics of this machine if possible. |
