Title: Vendo 144
Post by: joesquid on August 09, 2005, 11:40:22 am
Proof positive that the old business adage holds true in this era of internet business, "Location is everything!"  I just got a call from my friend in Florida who graciously allowed me to sell my first restoration project in his coke memorabilia store.  He just sold it for $1100!!

Erin was also thrilled for me until she saw the wild gleam in my eye......man, I must need therapy!!   :D

Right on Eric, now you must convince her that you need to re-invest into more machines!!!

Trust me, I'm dying to get into the "higher" market machines.  Got a lead on a good looking Vendo 110, not my favorite, but it's in great shape!  I already paid my "coke machine insurance" by purchasing a $1000 dining room table for her back in April, so I should be free and clear with my coke funds! :D

Jordang, you'd be correct.  Buccaneer Gifts in Ft. Walton Beach. Oscar Ring is the owner, great guy with lots of neat coke stuff in his shop.  What I've always liked about the man is he knows exactly what he can get for everything he has but doesn't scalp anyone.  Word of mouth is his best form of public relations, part of the reason I enjoyed working with him so much.  It seems all you ever hear about are the guys that take the unsuspecting to the cleaners, it's nice to know and work with someone who doesn't.

Okay, I'm done "publicizing"   :)
