Title: Fan motor Post by: 90grad on July 31, 2005, 06:23:25 am All,
I have torn down my VMC 56 can machine and figured I'd replace the fan motors while I was in there. There is a little, flat clip that seems to thread on the shaft of the fans to hold the blades on. Is removing this just an exercise in patience with a pair of needle nose (and some knuckle skin) or is there an easier way? Title: Fan motor Post by: Kevin C on July 31, 2005, 08:46:02 am Hello
I use a pair of channel locks. Just open them one notch to get it started, then use your fingers. Kevin Title: Fan motor Post by: MoonDawg on July 31, 2005, 10:29:40 am Wayne...the shaft is threaded and that is just a nut. Hold the fan blade and unthread the nut with a pair of pliers

Your new fan motor will come with a new clip. Kevin |
