Title: Need info on a slider Post by: jasmine64 on July 22, 2005, 09:41:07 am ok, I've got a call on a slider model # 18-8852-044. I have never delt with buying a slider before. The machine doesnt cool has been stored long time. But is complete with cap catcher, coin box and keys.
He wasnt sure of the make, will call back with that info. I'm thinking Cornellius. Being its brown. Someone who has made slider purchases in the past.give me help on price, and maybe a visual on this machine. Hey Josh if you need machines let me know I'm getting calls. Most of them are south of your new locatin. Title: Need info on a slider Post by: loman4ec on July 22, 2005, 10:33:35 am I will be really interested when I get there. I think I am going to be looking for more round tops but I still love square tops. I learned my lesson on cornelius sliders. They are hard to sell and I have found that their cooling systems are really touchy. I have had two cooling machines stop cooling in a matter of days. All I did was lay them down. I did let them set upright for 24 hours but they still stoped cooling. Since it doesn't cool if it is a cornelius I would stay away from it if I were you. If it is an ideal get it.
Title: Need info on a slider Post by: Eric on July 22, 2005, 10:48:43 am All the newer slider seen to rust out on the inside (at least the ones I've seen)
liners are thin plastic coated didn't seem to hold up here in Missouri. But if it's a Ideal 35 embossed RC painted brown! (OK I'm dreaming now...sorry) I'd be all over it! Josh make sure you make it to Riply MS trading days it one heck of a big flea market/trading exhibit take very good shoes. The cooler months are the best. You may be able to google it. First Monday of the month. I think is 50 acres. I bet you have very good luck in the towns up around Jackson Tn. I know of 2 places in Pigeon Forge Tn. that has whole buildings of Coke memobillia, machines, fountains, parts and signs. That would be a good weekend trip someday for you to take. Seems like there are lots to choose from in se part of tn. Good luck. That will be a Sat thing after yard work is done.
Title: Need info on a slider Post by: Kevin C on July 22, 2005, 04:20:56 pm Hmmm!
I guess my $66 Cornnelius may be a good learning machine. If it works as described it will be fine. I will keep my fingers crossed. Kevin Title: Need info on a slider Post by: Kevin C on July 22, 2005, 04:22:47 pm Hmmm!
