Title: Need info Post by: jasmine64 on July 01, 2005, 11:51:16 am My Choice Vend 168, vends cans, but I wont at least one column to vend bottles. How do I do that?
Title: Need info Post by: loman4ec on July 01, 2005, 11:53:20 am All of the Cv168's that I have had require no adjustments to vend bottles. Look at the tag does it say Bottle and can vendor?

What are the 6 plates for? I'll be adding a pic in about 5 minutes. Title: Need info Post by: jasmine64 on July 01, 2005, 12:02:56 pm The plates (6 all together) are bundled in the bottom, never knew how to install or what they were used for.

Title: Need info Post by: loman4ec on July 01, 2005, 12:11:44 pm Well they look like spacers. If that is what they are they would adjust the width from going from cans to bottles. But if I am correct i think the origional cans were skinnier. Again I don't know for sure. I think the spacers were to make the machines vend the skinnier cans. Now aren't cans about the same size as bottles? I have never paid much attention. I do know that on the cavalier 55 you use spacers when going from bottles to cans.

Need to clean up a can spill in the machine from a leaking can I just found. Those thin alum cans really are a hazzard at times atleast it was a small spill. Title: Need info Post by: on July 01, 2005, 02:38:07 pm This may not help, but I do know that modern 12 oz. soda cans are slightly bigger around than 10 oz. glass bottles (and probably the 12 oz. bottles). In my V-216MD, cans fit fine, but I had to put spacers in my channels for 10 oz. bottles. For what it's worth.
Title: Need info Post by: jasmine64 on July 01, 2005, 03:12:34 pm This is the only way or place I see that the spacers will work.
