Post by: BryanH on June 21, 2005, 02:35:32 pm Used to travel to San Jose almost every week back in the late 90's.  Now it's been about six months since I've been in San Jose but I don't ever remember orange groves....  They've been working on the road into / out of the airport for close to 2 years now...   I'll try to carve time out next time I'm there... All the agriculture has been covered with parking lots for the empty office buildings and apartments. Very sad. Give a holler if passing through. Creighton Title: Ventura, ca. must see! Do the geocaching thing and those are sometimes in out of the way parks dedicated to the heritage of the area. Nothing looks the same anymore. Guess that is just the way it goes these days. Enjoyed my time in KS. Crickets, fireflies and a good lighting/thunder storm show almost every night. Creighton Title: Ventura, ca. must see! Creighton I watched fireflies a few nights ago while I had my telescope out. The first ones we have had in a long time. One landed on my daughter and she ran screaming in the house.
