Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: Eric on June 16, 2005, 05:31:45 pm Well.... finally the luck of 'kito's yard sale hunting has drifted South to ol' Missouri.
Found this 81 square top today for $75... Now of course some Einstein thought the motor needed more breathing holes so he cut the bottom right side open. But I thought I could use the parts... Can the bottle stack be used in a round top also? No mech and missing one shelf. Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: Eric on June 16, 2005, 05:33:22 pm inside of the coin door...

Very nice score!! The rack would most likely fit a RT-81 but you have the electric/mech issue and don't think the "bottle cap" selection was ever on a rt81. Looks like a great theme machine project. One shelf and the coin mech is no biggie. Creighton Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: on June 16, 2005, 11:22:02 pm Looks like 2 shelves missing to me, but who's counting anyway?
Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: on June 16, 2005, 11:24:51 pm Great find though.
Glad that a little luck O' the Kito has rubbed off on you. Today I just bought a used (but excellent condition) Thermador stainless steel cooktop for my kitchen, from someone for just $50! And yesterday I got a "Mr. Do" cocktail table arcade machine for just $50 !!! I thought I had no more room in my gameroom, but now I really don't have room! Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: Eric on June 17, 2005, 07:09:08 am Correct two shelves missing... but I'm gonna part it out I think now..... with the damage
to the cabinet I think I can make money on this thing (I hope). Door, Bottle Stack, Shelves, Latch, Bottle Shelves Supports, We'll see...... Then I may just see if Randy down in Ozark has another machine with a good cabinet. It does get cold and isn't too bad condition (with exception of the cabinet side) It has a date of 1959.... too bad it wasn't 2 years earlier.... Roundtop... I'd have camped out till I got it. Eric Title: Vendorlator 81 squaretop Post by: BryanH on June 17, 2005, 10:30:42 am Eric - I'm still looking for parts for my VMC56 (which should get painted next week - found a neighbor that manages an auto bosy store - yippee and has machine envy). Anyway... I need a couple shelves, lock assembly, opener bezel, cap catcher and coin box. Not sure the shelves will fit (mine are 19" long on the side with the hook, 16" on the other long side and 6-1/2" wide) but I'm guessing the rest should be usable as they're both Vendorlators.
