Title: Pepsi machine with auto can opener cans w/no tabs Post by: on June 01, 2005, 11:26:45 pm Has anyone heard of a pepsi machine that vends cans from before pull-tabs. It also has an electric hole punch that will put a hole in the can so it can be drank. I have one and have never seen or heard of one. hope to hear from someone.

"Now in cans!" <------ A telltale sign Those early cans had no pull tabs, so you put the can in a little compartment in the door of the machine and as you pushed down the little door, it would puncture it with a triangle-shaped hole. And yes, strangely enough, some of those punches has electricity running to them to heat up and "sterilize" the openers! Strange, eh? I think those machines are pretty cool.
