It is a nice size, but does the C27 only take the smaller bottles? Is it a very popular model?

Hello,Halehouse
I have a C-27 (Star Wheel) I have never tryed any other bottles .But i don't beleive any other size would work.I have talked to Steve at Sodajerks .He say's thay only made around 2,000 C-27 and less then a third had the ships wheel handel . I did last year have it on my Neighbors porch for a block party and had beer in it just to keep cold  :drinkers: but now i have to replace the wiring because after we used it & moved it back in the basement I notice the wiring brittle & brakeing off  :darn: But it still works But don't trust it .So after I get my other work done it's next in line ..

Not 100% sure on the bottle size but I believe that it does vend only the small sized 6.5 and 8.5 inch bottles.

One little side note, there's a guy here in Mitchell, IN (30 mins south of me) that has had some reproduction "ship's wheel" star handles reproduced by a local machinist and is currently offering them on Ebay. His Ebay name is ("459") his name is Harrison Collins. He can be found in the Restorer's Section here. Just enter zipcode "47403" and his is the first name.

Thanks guys.  There is one on greedbay right now that is not too far from me, and right now it is reasonable $ wise. From the sounds of it, it might go high.

This is the one I was referring to.  Or is it "to which I was referring"?
