Title: Fl jacobs mdl. jsc 160
Post by: on April 26, 2005, 09:31:18 pm
I've located an FL Jacobs in the back room of an old Seattle restraurant but cannot find any info on this particular model number.  It looks similar to the J-26 or the J-35.  Any ideas about this particular model?

Not to sound like a wise-arse, but it sounds like you have a Jacobs 26, J-35, J-50, or J-56.  I base this on the fact the Jacobs' machines were pretty unique in shape.  Either you have seen a Jacobs machine or a retired mailbox.  If possible, include a photo...

Welcome Reiker.  Which restaraunt in Seattle ?

Just kidding ......... The 26 and 35 are same size, different handles.   The 35 is the rarest and more valuable.  Regardless of which one it is, get back over there with  $500.00 in hand and pick it up today (if it's 100% complete )
Somehow these machines can sit in storage for 40+ years un-noticed. But now that you know about it, chances are someone else does too.
          We hope it's still there
