Title: Temperature control Post by: Paul on August 12, 2019, 06:33:20 pm I recently bought a Westinghouse Select o matic WC-78-MD. It is a fully functional machine. I am having trouble figuring out how to set the temperature. I see on the knob turn for coldest 1-9 but I don't see a mark to know my setting. I put in some bottles and some ice was forming on the outside of the bottle.
Thanks Title: Re: Temperature control Post by: johnieG on August 12, 2019, 08:24:58 pm Picture would help

I have attached the pic. Thanks Paul Title: Re: Temperature control Post by: johnieG on August 14, 2019, 09:27:54 pm Rotate the knob fully counter-clockwise until it clicks “off” take note of where the “Off” position is at ( 6-o’clock, 9-o’clock, etc) put a reference mark on the chassis / metal flange with a sharpie or scratch it onto the metal next to the “Off” mark on the knob, this is your index point, Now turn the knob back clockwise until the #3 aligns with the new mark, this is s typical start point for a machine, normally there is an embossed mark, line or a notch on the metal surrounding the knob somewhere. Or even a dot of paint
