The machine is equipped with a 50% one flavor vend mechanism. 4 of the shelves basically lock out until all of them have dispensed the bottle and then they unlock and drop another row. Is there anyway to disable this? I've read about zip tying the mechanism and as i understand it that's basically a pseudo free vend. Are there any other options? I tried to search, but couldn't quite find what i was looking for. Title: Re: 50% one flavor vend (can i disable it) Post by: jaco on December 08, 2018, 04:28:24 pm I took the bottle rack out and there's an extra slider bar and locking mechanism inside the single flavor area. Looks like it works on gravity. when its down, it has notches that locks the bars in place. when its up, it resets them.
i just took a twist tie and rigged it in there that that it holds the slider in the up position. this allows the gates in that section to work normally. I'll see if i can get some pictures if anyone is interested.
