Title: Vendo 81A Post by: msanborn on October 13, 2018, 10:08:33 pm Dumb question for the group, I came across a really nice Vendo 81a, all original, cools great, etc, only a few small dents etc. What is the going value for a great original 81?

A rough (needing restoration) A starts at about $1300. Decent original (garage machine) $1800. Very nice original as in way to nice to restore $2500-$3000+, depending on how nice. The A version is always about 25% -35% less in value from both B/D version.

I bought my machine 5 years ago for $2,500. The machine had lived indoors it's entire life and was in very good/excellent original condition. Perhaps I overpaid at that time, but it didn't matter to me. I could afford it and it was exactly what I wanted; an original, unrestored Vendo 81. I have no clue on what the current value is on an 81A. I Good luck. :happydrinkers: Title: Re: Vendo 81A Post by: mygoose101 on October 18, 2018, 06:17:32 pm I have a 9+ Vendo 81A and I wouldn't sell it even for $4,000. I'm not saying it's worth that because I know it's not but it's worth that much to me.
