Title: Vendo 44 Date Post by: OldFans on July 06, 2018, 12:34:20 pm Hello All,
Thanks for the add - 1st post for me, how exciting! :) After 2 years of looking, I finally found a suitable restoration project. I wanted one where the outside could be kept as original as possible, while I could definitely do so, I did not want to strip, blast and paint. I want it mechanically sound and fully functional. During breakdown I found a nice little surprise. I would say it is the date of the Galv metal manufacture, not the Vendo 44. However, the serial number info on the back as well as the compressor align to this date. While I don't know the answer to your question, I am betting that that lone button sign on the wall will soon have plenty of company  Title: Re: Vendo 44 Date Post by: OldFans on July 06, 2018, 01:19:02 pm Welcome. Your machine looks like its shaking from the cold and being alone. It needs its family. |
