Title: 50’s Shoe shine machine. Post by: johnieG on June 03, 2018, 04:50:54 pm I keep running into things that are old but still in service, I found this early 50’s shoe-shine vendor in a local electric shop, it’s set for a free shine, but still has its original 10-cent mech, ( and yes it’s reflective of the “less than sensitive” values of that era, :oh: & the sign is back-lit.

Post by: johnieG on June 04, 2018, 10:17:43 pm Yes, there’s an opening at the bottom with a slow speed buffing wheel, as for the back/heel area the buffer sticks out a bit from the base, so I assume you turn around & face the opposite way to present the heel to the wheel.
