Title: Use Exact Change light on Cavalier CS-72 Post by: bksanders57 on May 31, 2018, 11:24:14 pm Hello All,
My wife and I picked up a Cavalier CS-72 at an auction. Its a Vendo, Vari-Price 50 coin mechanism. I just pit lamps in today and the Use exact change lamp is on. There are 2 nickels in the nickel tube and about $5.00 in dimes in the dime tube The price on the machine is $.10 and it will make change if a quarter is put in. Is there a certain number if nickels that need to be in the tube for the light to go off? Another question I have is. after running for about a week at around 34 degrees I noticed the temperature climbed to around 39 degrees. Turns out the inside coil, I'm not sure whether that is the condenser or evaporator coil, frosted up. After unplugging about a quart of water was collected from the drain. While running the condensate collection was dry. I am running the machine indoors in Phoenix, AZ. I private emailed a guy named Ezra about manuals but got no reply. Good PDF copies would be great. Thanks, Brad Title: Re: Use Exact Change light on Cavalier CS-72 Post by: bksanders57 on June 01, 2018, 10:29:21 am When posting pictures does...

Regarding the "Use Correct Change" light, you'll need more nickels in the tubes... Title: Re: Use Exact Change light on Cavalier CS-72 Post by: bksanders57 on June 02, 2018, 01:37:00 am Probably paid too much. Went to view the machine at the auction house and one of the employees said a guy had been in and was going to go all in. It took 3K to get it.
Any one have any input about the coil freezing up? Jim, Thank you for the reply about the coin mech. Good model and collectible, has the larger letters rather then the smaller ones, huge plus. You did just fine for 3K.

Is it turning? Maybe it needs oi? Title: Re: Use Exact Change light on Cavalier CS-72 Post by: bksanders57 on June 03, 2018, 07:36:27 pm Thanks for the reply.
I had it on for a couple of days and only the bulb type thing on the top right of the coil frosted up this time. The fan is blowing very good. I feel a good flow at the top of the cabinet. Brad |
