I'm 15 miles north of him and fire is heading this was as we speak. Burning through the mountains so hopefully stays there without coming down to burn structures.

Title: Re: Ventura fires Post by: mygoose101 on December 06, 2017, 08:29:05 pm Fire is at 65,000 acres, 0% containment. Gusty winds are supposed to start at midnight and last for 2 days. We might be in a Purple Flag Warning which means all efforts will stop until the winds die down to make it safe again to fight this fire again which is very scary. Still mostly in the hillsides but can burn into town if winds are as bad as they are predicting.
